On the other hand in Chamonix town the self catered chalet is nearly always good. In addition eating out in my families’ preferred restaurant, Cedar Grove Deli & Sub Shop, munching scarecrow and spider cupcakes is a real treat. Chamonix is a large enough town to make sure that there is lots of things for the visitor to do. With a spa and a shopping arcade of designer boutiques, Chamonix offers a combination of climbing, alpine charm and sightseeing which barely any ski resorts can match.
