Website Development and What Issues to Consider

Gepost in: Design — @ 10:27 pm

No matter how good your business strategy, failure can still occur if your website isn’t up to scratch, and/or you struggle with terrible website hosting (for instance slow loading pages or downtime). When considering which web design team to opt for, you should play ‘website development bingo’ – we consider a ‘full card’ to be website design firms that mention the following areas when talking about your proposed new site:-

  • your strategy – talking specifically in regards to what your intentions are – what’s the web development firm’s thoughts of your idea ?
  • usability – so your audience can do things easily on your site
  • accessibility – so your website can be physically accessed by everyone, with the text clearly understood by the intended target audience
  • SEO (or search engine optimization) – supplying your website solid rankings in search engines
  • content management systems (or CMS) – permitting you to add, edit and delete info on your website by yourself at any time
  • website security – safety measures to guard private data, with at least daily backups of data.
  • website hosting – will the website design firm host your website? What about the servers? Do they use shared servers with 1000s of other companies on the very same server, or are they using dedicated servers?
  • technical support and after sales – will they assist you once the website goes live? How much is tech support? Do they offer updates?

A decent website design team will inform you of the preceding issues, and how they deal with them.

So how to locate such a web design firm? It’s advisable to search for one in your location, so you can visit them and be assured that they are a real firm with a accomplished team behind them. In a search engine, type in a search keyphrase like “web design” and add your locality; for example : web design derby. This will give you a listing of website development outfits in your location.

Gepost in: Biz Opps, Design, Management Hub — @ 5:22 am

The UK’s largest real investment estate trust, The British Land Company PLC, said at the end of last week that it has done a deal on Regent’s Place, specifically 2-3 Triton Square in London, letting part of the premises pass to Abbey.

The Triton Square development is an area of Regent’s Place currently owned by the British Land Company PLC. Comprising five buildings, the floor area totals about a million square feet of office, retail and leisure space. Currently, about seven-thousand employees work on the estate.

The move by the owner of the property comes after a number of measures have been taken by the companies involved in the real estate business to boost capital and to raise the financial statements of the company.

In December 30th, the total value of the assets of the British Land Company reached almost fourteen billion pounds.

The director also stated that they are committed to completing their business premises at Regent’s Place One and Two later in the year.

The property is a 200,000 square foot first class office design which was constructed in 2002 by British Land Company. The premises bought by Abbey were sold for £115m showing an opening yield of nearly 7.3 percent, as reported by the company.

Abbey has chosen to rent the building for nearly £750,000 per month until the year 2022. The Director of the British Land reported in a statement that Abbey was not only an important occupier of Regent’s Place, but is now also to become an important stakeholder in the thirteen acre property.
