Once you guide the subject to a greater depth of trance, you’ll establish a point beyond which they become able to disregard pain, and block bodily sensation.

Hallucinations slowly make themselves known the further they descend into their trance state, and eventually they will reach a state like that experienced under general anesthetic. It’s not unheard of for this kind of hypnotic state to be used to help with medical procedures. The Underground Hypnosis program won’t take anyone quite that far; however, that won’t be a problem. In the majority of cases, the lower degrees are all that’s needed.

Managing my household budget can sometimes be really bothersome, but not managing it can put me into financial debt before I realize it. The benefits from managing my budget correctly not only saves me money but also helps relieve stress from debt.

There are numerous things that I have in my life that influence me financially, my household budget is the deepest influence. There are not many individuals these days who have learned how to budget and this can lead to many financial troubles, including debt. One main reason why so many of us do not create a budget is because we think it is just too complicated. But in actuality, devising a budget does not have to be difficult at all; it can be as easy as penciling down our spending and updating it each month. By doing this, we do not spend more than we have.

It is essential for me to keep in mind that my budget is simply my program for my monthly spending. Just like any programme, my budget does necessitate me to oversee it to keep it running correctly. Organizing information was the first step in devising my budget. I keep track of expenses like car loan repayments, utilities, car insurance, living expenses, etc. If I do not coordinate my budget, I can easy find myself in debt. It is very important for me to know exactly what I need on expenditures each month.

I see two advantages with keeping abreast with my finances through my budget. First of all, I am able to save money on superfluous expenditure. Secondly, I can keep myself from going into unnecessary debt. When I spend my money wisely, I buy only things that are required and I free up money that I can use on something that I want or can save it. With the extra money I am able to save, I have the option of putting it aside and investing.

Achieve Great Expectations with the Denver Social and Matchmaking Service

Not that I ignore my emotions, ’cause dating games don’t “get” me. Get this, merely hours ago I ate a whole bag of Oreos. To ease the pain while being single, no less. Don’t judge me (j/k!). What does this mean? Honestly, that’s the moment when I honestly looked into meeting new singles in North Dallas.

Easy solution. Figured I’d boost my dating life at this Dallas dating service. And it turned out to be my golden ticket. The reason I mention my dating woes: I was at my boy’s t-ball game in Dallas yesterday, Mom had to know if I’ve bumped into that special someone. They always bring this up, every year. I didn’t want to answer, but then laughed, “No.”

There’s nowhere to hide when The Old Tooter (aka: grandpa) chimed in about true relationships. I leveled to all of them: “I’ll be fine, you would bring that up.”

How can they be so rude? Everyone looked away and giggled. Quite promptly, I called Dave in hopes this loneliness would all go away. That didn’t help! I can’t imagine what I was thinking there. Billy, who was a fellow Ram in high school (go Rams!) suggested that I mingle at singles events by Great Expectations. I said, “That would do the trick.” I have some good friends. I am truly grateful for Great Expectations Denver.

When I started, matchmaking was kinda foreign because I’m a traditionalist of sorts. I’d never done anything like this before, so much so that I got a little queasy. A mere slip up could not pull the plug on the evening. The night was full of crazy-fun mingling. The host was incredible and I’ll always remember the many enjoyable people I met, all available singles.

It wasn’t long before I was regularly mingling at these incredibley satisfying Great Expectations Dallas singles events, I rubbed elbows with quite a few winners who clearly feel the same way I do when it comes to dating. I really shouldn’t allow anyone get me down about me not dating. Astoundingly enough, matchmaking the Great Expectations way is a lot of fun and just what I’ve been looking for.

Doesn’t Take Much to Know Holding Great Expectations Is a Good Idea for Dating

For one, Nobody can say I’m downright satisfied living alone and remain an honest woman. But, I’m not uncomfortable about it, either. I just mention it in this blog as an intriguing little tidbit foreshadowing what I am about to reveal to you

Last Monday yours truly was walking the dog, Stacey, thinking of joining a Dallas Singles dating service. You prolly couldn’t guess that, I write to my readers as a fully satisfied member of the dating service. Totally, and I almost don’t believe it myself! It’s full of fun, attractive people! If you know me at all, you may be wondering, “You got some ’splainin to do, Lucy!”

Here’s how it went down, I noticed this Great Expectations Dating site and felt encouraged. They’re for the serious singles who think dating isn’t a game.

Because in all honesty I’d never been a fan of this silly social phenomenon serial daters (ie: everyone I know) have christened “The Dating Experience.” I got it more than you know. Every night they pester, “You’re still single? ” and “Just get out there and date him!”

“Baloney!” I reply, and playfully so. “Take a look around, I’m not missing much.”

“Don’t be silly,” they say. “You have no way to know that!”

Thankfully, that’s my friend The One-And-Only hah! Trisha Wilson. She pours reality to my brain to put me back on course. People you can trust . No countering that, so I signed up.

Returning to the meaning of this post. As I browsed from more than three hundred combinations of outfits for my first date with Great Expectations, a revelation hit me real. For the longest time, I hadn’t had the greatest of literal great expectations for dating in the adventurous journey of being alive. Being single isn’t so bad, even more so if you use the freedom to date. Having great expectations does wonders in dating.

First on the Dance Floor

I was recently delighted to attend my first ball in Bangkok hosted by the New Zealand Society in honour of their national day. The force behind the organisation was Christina and she’d done a spectacular job. It was wonderfully grand and I had a suitably grand dress to match! There are many different nationalities in Bangkok and after the initial ‘where are you from’ conversation we tend to blend together into one ‘ex-pat community’. Until that is it comes to our celebrating. The lamb and great wine were no surprise, however the powerful Maori welcome ceremony, the Ambassadors being called by their first names and the dancing was more of a shock for my British mind.

Let me take that back! The dancing itself wasn’t shocking. Everyone appeared to be having fun and we generally sang along to the same classics. It was when it started. We were all seated, the wine had just been poured, the first course was served and the band began playing. Half way into my smoked salmon I turned around to find the dance floor was packed!

What had suddenly caused people to abandon this wonderful food and rush to the dance floor risking potential indigestion? Well they seemed inspired by the music, eager to flirt with their partners and friends and express themselves. I too was enthused and it wasn’t long before I followed.

When was the last time you were first on the dance floor? When were you so inspired and passionate you just had to go for it? When were you last creative, uninhibited and oblivious to all but your immediate surroundings? When were you last in the ‘flow’ with all your natural energies?

My experience in the UK is even those who aren’t ‘waiting for the alcohol to kick in’ would be afraid to look foolish by being the first on the dance. FEAR, the enemy of creative expression, rules. If the dancing Queens and Kings at this ball were afraid it certainly didn’t show!

How about if you’re holding back from other areas of your life? If this is something you feel inspired and passionate about but you’re holding back, fear will be close by. What are you afraid will happen? Is this really as life threatening as it feels? Could you get some support so you’re not going there alone? What would make the new thing so irresistible that you had to go for it?

Susan Jeffers recommends ‘feeling the fear and doing it anyway’ and ‘acting as if’ is a common way of masking fear. I also like the saying that ‘courage is not the absence of fear but the mastery of it.’

At the salsa club, the first on the floor may be the best dancers ‘performing’ or they could be eager students practicing. Being a ‘learner’ is an excellent attitude for life. How would it be if you were practising, experimenting, learning and playing in life? Could this take some of the fear out of your adventures? Could it make new actions less risky? Could it propel you onto that dance floor?

Whether it’s the dance floor, new project, new business, new location, new career or the dating scene you’re holding back from, I invite you to be a ‘courageous person in training’. Go for it! Oh and remember to have fun in the process!

Trainers: Prepare to Inspire and Create More Income — Nine Tactics for Optimal Learning Retention

There are nine basic processes for taking in information. Let’s briefly explore each one to determine the advantages and disadvantages of each.

1. Reading has the advantages of being portable, and to some degree, self-paced. Review and repetition are effortless. Disadvantages include badly-written material and poor reading skills (eyesight, dyslexia, bad habits). Uncontrollable distractions also come into play.

2. Audio, although limited to one sense, has the great advantage these days of being highly portable. Lectures and presentations can be recorded and played back on the go. Recorded material can be listened to as many times as desired.

3. Video adds the dimension of seeing what is being demonstrated or written. Adding sight to the sound is synergistic (value is greater than the sum of its parts). Since it’s recorded, it can be viewed as many times as desired. This medium has recently become highly portable.

4. Lecture format is certainly easier than conducting a workshop. The lack of interactivity results in far less understanding and integration. If notes are taken, it is often at the price of not hearing everything being said. If notes are not taken, then review is difficult.

5. Workshop implies interactivity. It may be as complicated as tasking smaller break-out groups and having them present their conclusions or ideas to the larger group. It might be as simple as participants being asked to find a partner and review previously-covered material. The common challenges for a trainer are the logistics (time and environment) and the enthusiasm of the learners.

6. Collaboration is self-directed group activity. Once a group decides on its outcome and goals, and consistently keeps them in mind, then great learning can take place. Best practice is to elect a facilitator to maintain focus. Group size and composition are important factors.

7. Computerized Interactive Learning is ideal for those who thrive on solo work. It is self-paced, multi-media, and resource-rich. The physical drawbacks, if overdone, are myopia and lack of movement causing muscle atrophy. The emotional fallout, if overdone, can be low self-esteem and poor interpersonal skills due to lack of human interaction.

8. Experience is the best teacher. We’ve all heard that. Well, it can be, but it isn’t always so. Often experience is circumstantial, unplanned, and misinterpreted. If it is properly planned, participants in an experiential program can learn and grow faster than any other method. I remember when I experienced my first “Warrior Camp”. After five 16-hour days, I had undergone such a shift in thinking and attitude that I will never allow any obstacle get in my way again – for the rest of my life.

9. Hypnotic style learning can be very valuable. These include specific sound (and sometimes video) programs engineered to stimulate and grow the mind. The good ones are expensive, but worth it. Self-hypnosis can be used to reach the learning state, which is relaxed alertness.

As a trainer — What to do? What to do?

Your number one responsibility is to impart information and inspire your audience. If you do an info-dump without any inspiration, then no one wins. Can you do both? Of course you can. Are you fired-up about your subject? NO? Then don’t do it. If you do, you’ll do more harm that good. For them it won’t even be neutral. It’ll be negative. What’s the point in that?

If you had a choice between being inspirational or informative, choose the former. If you turn them on first, then they gladly get the data later.

Right up front, I tell them NOT to take notes. Why do I do that? It is so they pay attention to me, without the burden of note-taking. The same conflict exists when you use pre-talk handouts and slides with bullet-points or text of any kind. The audience will read ahead. And guess what. When they’re doing that, they’re not listening to you. I use only a flip chart. That way, they are following me at my pace. How can they review you may ask. That is where your BOR comes in. At the beginning of the talk, I tell them that my intention is to inspire them. I tell them not to worry about the data, because it’ll come later. What comes later? The opportunity for them to buy my book and DVD. Then they can review everything to their hearts’ content.

How can you encourage them to buy?

Have a short discussion about the nine methods above and lead them to the conclusion that a combination of some of these may be best. What combo? How about your workshop combined with your book and video? Wow, what a terrific solution!

Coach Yourself for Success

Coaching is an important part of self-development. If you can’t hire a professional coach, you can “coach yourself.” There are many things that people can do to develop themselves personally, and they don’t always require an outlay of cash:

Read one hour per day in your chosen field or in the area of personal development, or both. Because most people read very little, you will become an expert in your field in just three years. Your local library can provide most of the books you need, and they are provided at no cost to you.

Listen to audio tapes, or CDs, in your car. If your commute to work is 15 minutes one way, then you will be in your car for 125 hours per year. This is the equivalent of three 40-hour work weeks. Imagine what would happen if you turned your car into a “university on wheels,” and invested that time in your personal growth and development. Many libraries have books on tape, as well as audio programs in various areas of personal development.

Identify your values, and align your life around those values. Many people’s lives are not oriented around their values, and they are frustrated trying to determine why they aren’t happy, or aren’t reaching their goals. When you are expressing your values, you are being true to yourself. Pursuing goals that aren’t in line with your values leads to frustration. Living in alignment with your values leads to fulfillment.

Attend courses, workshops and seminars regularly. The design of such materials requires hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of hours to create. When you attend a seminar, you benefit from someone else’s efforts to distill the most important information on that subject. Although some events can be very expensive, many are also quite reasonable.

Surround yourself with support systems. Getting independent, objective feedback is a great way to fuel your personal growth. Built-in accountability is another benefit to such a structure of support. Create a mastermind group, or find a friend who is also interested in such an arrangement.

Develop the habit of extreme self-care. Treat your body as a temple, and it will support you in producing extraordinary results in every other area of your life. Exercise regularly, in the form of strength training, as well as cardiovascular workouts. Drink lots of water. I know half your body weight in ounces sounds excessive, but it isn’t. Finally, give yourself the gift of solitude. Enjoy quiet time every day.

Keep a journal. Keep a permanent record of what you’re noticing in your life. This could be a gratitude journal, where you record what you’re grateful for in your life. Or you could record eventsdaily happeningsin your life. Jot down observations about what is occurring around you. There is no wrong way to write in a journal, and the process can be incredibly rewarding.

Design your ideal life. If life were perfect, what would it look like? What would you do, be and have if you could wave a magic wand, and make it so? What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail? Your ideal life is contained within your answers to these questions. Begin today to paint the picture of what this ideal life would look like.

Create a plan to get from where you are to where you want to be. You know where you are currently. And you’ve designed your ideal life. Now determine what it will take to get from Point A to Point B. Write down everything that will have to happen to make this a reality. What will you have to do that you’re not doing now? Who will you need to meet? What support structures will need to be in place? When will all this take place?

Just do it. At some point, you will need to “jump.” It will not always be comfortable doing so, yet it is only when you move outside your comfort zone that breakthroughs can occur. This is where fear usually steps in, and puts up that big wall in front of you. So climb over it, go around it, dig under it, or knock it down. If you continue to take action in the direction of your ideal life, your fears will eventually go away.

I’ve said it before, but it’s worth repeating. The best investment that you can make is an investment in yourself. Make the decision to invest 3-5% in your own personal development, and “coach yourself. Soon you will find yourself living your ideal life!

“What Is True Prosperity?”

When you live your life by the law of Prosperity, you can create
all that you need. True prosperity starts within the mind and
means more then just money. Ideas, dreams, wishes, thoughts, are
all a part of your prosperity consciousness. So, whenever you
focus your attention on a specific idea, wish or whatever,
whether it’s positive or negative, it will become real.

Once you know that the power of the mind can attract whatever
you focus on, amazing results can happen. If there is enough
faith behind your request, there is enough power within you to
make it happen. Know, too, that your natural association with a
Higher Power is the true source of your prosperity. Having a
spiritual belief is an important part of this source.

Prosperity is made up of many things and may include some of the
following sources:

1. Good health and healthy living (and eating!)

2. Great relationships with family, spouse, friends, neighbors, co-workers, associates

3. A fulfilling career

4. Continued mental and emotional growth

5. Satisfactory and worthy material possessions

During times when you feel happy and all is right in your world,
you can actually create your own destiny. From those positive
feelings, focus your thoughts on a definite purpose. From that you
will experience true prosperity. Everyday make your purpose the
central point in your thoughts. Keep thinking about your vision.
This creates your attitude. Then your attitude will determine
how much success and prosperity you’ll have in your life.

The way you look at the challenges you face everyday, and the
way you react to them forms the way things are attracted to you.
If you start your day in a negative mood, you can bet that
negative things will happen to you. The opposite is also true.
When you’re in a good mood, you attract positive experiences.

This too, holds true for money. When you give, you get back
much more. Though, at times you can see that the giving is
unbalanced because you’re trading one value for another. Think
about the moments when you gave away something of value to you.
Was it given in a begrudging or angry manner, or with an
expectancy of getting something in return? When that happens,
you pay a price. Instead, be conscious of your attitude and the
way you give or the way you handle your money. Spend it and give
it responsibly. Do it cheerfully. Become the kind of person who
gives with kindness and prosperity will find you.

The path to true prosperity includes three steps:

1. Good Health

2. Happiness

3. Wealth

All three steps must exist before you can reach true prosperity.
Before you can tap into the source that creates your prosperity,
it may be necessary to experience the kind of challenges that
shapes your character. Learn from your own mistakes and those of
others. Be ready to become the kind of person it takes to be
trusted and blessed with true prosperity.

You can always attract prosperity by thinking, speaking, and
feeling in a certain way. Have you ever noticed how your money
gets taken from you involuntarily when you don’t give it with a
cheerful, loving attitude? It may not happen immediately, yet
inevitably, unexpected expenses like your car breaking down,
your child needing new dental work, or some household item
having to be replaced, will come when you least expect them to,
and when you can least afford them. So, as you give, let go of
any guilt, self-pity, or ill-wishes toward others.

Remember: Prosperity won’t happen if you hold on to resentment
or revenge. Replace any negative feelings you may be holding and
open your mind to receive outcomes that are extraordinary. With
this attitude you can challenge the universe and create more
outcomes that are good. And as your wisdom and character grows,
so will your prosperity.
